Capsulution Nanoscience AG and NanoDel Technologies GmbH have combined their business models under the name of Capsulution Pharma AG and created a company in the field of nanoparticle based drug delivery.

The new company will use its proprietary drug delivery technologies for own drug developments in the therapeutic areas of central nervous system and oncology. Additionally, the ongoing programs for life cycle management of already marketed products in collaboration with third party companies will continue.

The merger was accompanied by an internal investment round of 2.5 Euros.

Capsulution Nanoscience was found as a spin-off of the Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces of Germany focused on polyelectrolyte based technologies. NanoDel Technologies scaled up the technologies developed at the University of Frankfurt.
