Nektar transforms into a drug development organization

Nektar Therapeutics announced a transition from a drug delivery service provider to a therapeutics drug development organization.

As a result of the restructuring, the company has cut 150 jobs approximately.

During 2007, Nektar advanced its proprietary programs on PEGylation and pulmonary drug delivery (see also news on November 15, 2007).
