Novagali Pharma SA, the French ophthalmology laboratory, has acquired 15 million euros funding.

As a result of this injection of funds, the company will continue to develop its most significant projects, including the commercialization both domestically and abroad of Cationorm(R), for the treatment of dry eye symptoms, as well as the development of its flagship products: Vekacia(R) for Vernal keratoconjunctivitis, Cyclokat(R) for Dry eye, Nova21027 for Glaucoma,  and Cortiject(R) forDiabetic macular edema.

The company will also continue or conclude the following studies: Cyclokat(R), a phase III clinical study now being carried out in Europe, and initiated in the United States during the third quarter of 2008 as well as the finalization of the Phase I study of Cortiject(R) started in April 2008 in the United States.

Novagali has two proprietary technologies: Novasorb(R) and Eyeject(R), to develops innovative products for all segments of the eye.
