Elan reported that its global revenue grew by 36% driven by the continued growth of Tysabri(R). In the worldwide market, Elan recorded net sales of $231.7 million for Tysabri(R), compared to $17.5 million in 2006. On the contrary, Maxipime(R) revenue decreased 66% in the fourth quarter of 2007, due to generic competition. Manufacturing revenue and royalties showed an increase of 16% over the full-year 2006.
